Our Landscape Construction and Maintenance course will run over 5 days and on successful completion the learners will have acquired valuable knowledge to carry out appropriate landscape techniques and tasks.
Each participant will cultivate the skills necessary to construct interesting landscape features and arrangements. Participants will demonstrate confidently their unique ability to prepare the ground and successfully sow a variety of landscape plants. On Completion learners will express a high standard of preservation to their constructed landscape features.

This course will help learners achieve the following:
Major award level 5 certificate
Candidates will be asked to demonstrate a broad range of practical skills and adherence to safe working practices. They will have to maintain a primary record of measurements and/or observations or other relevant information as part of the skills demonstration.
Candidates will investigate an existing ornamental planting that has a large variety of hard and soft landscaping features. In this project they will express their understanding of landscaping concepts and draw and evaluate on their conclusions.
National Vocational Certificate Level 1, Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent qualifications. Mature Applicants with relevant life and work experience.
