Aims

Participants of this course will successfully achieve the following outcomes:

  • Appreciate the professional skills required by a receptionist to operate in a
    front line position in a company.
  • Learners will appreciate the importance of the layout and maintenance of a
    reception area.
  • Candidates will understand and implement the procedures involved in the
    operation of an efficient front office area.
  • Each learner will thoroughly understand the different systems, equipment and
    operations within a reception area.
  • Confidently participants will demonstrate a professional attitude to colleagues
    and clients.
Progression Route

Major award FETAC Level 5.

Assessment

Participants who wish to achieve a FETAC Component Certificate must complete two assignments (30% Each) and a Skills Demonstration (40%).

Duration

This programme will run for 5 contact days and will require participants to complete some work in their own time.
